Memories of Beverly A Crawford - Wooldridge
1947 - 2006
Beverly A. Wooldridge, 59, a resident of Twin Shields in Dunkirk since 1992, died of cancer July 26 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 24, 1947, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Woody H. and Mary Ann Udovich Crawford, Mrs. Wooldridge was reared in District Heights and graduated from Surrattsville High School in Clinton in 1965. ,p>Mrs. Wooldridge also resided in Camp Springs and the community of Apple Green in Dunkirk.
She was a homemaker and co-founder of Batching Systems, Inc., an automation machinery manufacturing company in Calvert County, along with her husband, Donald R. "Don" Wooldridge of Dunkirk, whom she married in 1966. She served as vice president and was in charge of administration and finance.
Her interests included gardening, travel and supporting numerous community organizations, including hospice.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two sons, David B. Wooldridge of Prince Frederick and Russell J. Wooldridge of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Shirley C. Crawford of Owings; one brother, Woody H. Crawford of Burke, Va.; and five grandchildren.
